So me and my husband David planned on getting married after having our lovely Daughter Rebecca and living together. We are high school sweet hearts together since eighth grade. We paid for everything in the wedding my parents didn't help much at all which was completely fine. we decided to have a simple out side wedding here in Ithaca Ny at Stewart park next to Cayuga lake. I planned every thing myself. I had been dreaming of this day for all my life it was so important to me in all ways. I had my cousin to be Kayla be my maid of honor she had never been one before and didn't really want to be I think, but I'm happy she tried it was very important to me. I had my other brides maids my sister Jen, my friend Stephanie, my friend Amanda, my friend Khaliah. Rebecca my daughter was the flower girl and chase and Austin were ring bears they were all 2 years old at the time was adorable. For the grooms men the best man was Steve o, trick Davids brother, Brandon, Mikey and Eric. The planning began a year prior in 2009 once I started to plan it was hard to stay with my budget but i made it work i found local people for my dj and the cake which was amazing. We had Davids uncle Lester roast a pig and the rest of the salads were catered by the Genoa Hotel which was were i was working as a bartender at the time. my uncle dick was our pastor for our wedding he was great we met with him multiple times to plan for the wedding. the months that led up to the wedding were exciting every one helped which was great we hand made a lot of the favors and pre-wrapped all the silverware to make the plastic look a little more fancy even though there wasn't much fancy in our wedding. i bought my dress dirt cheap and it was gorgeous. all the bridesmaids were in the same teal color but chose there own style dress. i ordered the flowers from the local florist in Kingferry at the time. the rehearsal night went great it was at my uncle dick's church in the yard. following the rehearsal was dinner at the triangle restaurant in Kingferry which also was a place i worked at the time. It was a great time we had lasagna and salad for dinner a buffet style. So we had fun visiting and eating dinner, me and David didn't want to stay the night together we had been living together for three years, we planned for him to stay at his brother trick's house with all his groomsmen. Me and the bridesmaids stayed at my house and my parents stayed out in the camper in my front yard. Now we kisses goodbye at the end of the dinner and that's when the night began..... Me and the girls went home finish a few last signs and packed the car with everything then we had a couple drinks it. Around midnight so we decided we better get some sleep since we had to be at Stewart park at 7am to start getting set up before our hair appointments. I'm just falling a sleep when I get a phone call from my best man Steveo saying they are taking David to the hospital he broke his arm!!!!! My reply your joking shut up ........
